Everyone needs a Helping Hand every now and again. Our Mission group, Mount Moriah Helping Hands has taken some time to pull together some local resources to help meet you where you are at.

Luzerne County’s only 24/7 emergency shelter serving women experiencing homelessness.

If you are a Veteran who is homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness, we strongly encourage you to contact the National Call Center for Homeless Veterans
Manna House provides up to two years of transitional housing to individuals between 18-24 years old who are experiencing homelessness.
A counselor is available by phone, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide counseling, information about Protection from Abuse Orders, referrals to other community resources, and other services including emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children.

CEO Wilkes-Barre Food Pantry - Good Shepherd Lutheran Church
Nebo Baptist Church offers their free produce market to those in need in the community. The market is offered on the first Wednesday of the month, 4-6PM.
The food pantry takes place on the first 4 Wednesdays of the month from 9am - 11am.

Dial-a-Driver provides transportation services to individuals with disabilities and seniors throughout Luzerne County.
